Get to Know Dr. Cox
Dr. Cox was born in New York but grew up primarily in Houston, Texas. She attended The University of Texas at Austin, where she first was introduced to the dental field after joining the Texas Pre-Dental Society and participating in a summer pre-dental program at Baylor College of Dentistry.
Why did you decide to become a Dentist?
Dr. Cox's decision to become a dentist was influenced by her experiences at The University of Texas at Austin. Joining the Texas Pre-Dental Society allowed her to immerse herself in the dental community, where she discovered the profound impact that dentistry can have on people's lives. Participating in a summer pre-dental program at Baylor College of Dentistry solidified her determination to pursue a career in dentistry.
With extensive training on Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry, as well as being an active member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association, Dr. Cox is dedicated to providing top-notch dental care and staying at the forefront of advancements in the field.
Where did you study Dentistry?
Graduating from Texas A&M College of Dentistry in 2018, Dr. Cox pursued her dental education at this esteemed institution, where she gained the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in her field and help her get to where she is today.
Outside of the Dental office, what do you like to do?
Outside of the office, Dr. Cox leads an active and fulfilling life. She never misses the opportunity to travel both near and far, embracing new experiences and cultures. Her favorite weekend activities include yoga, sharing meals with friends, and catching up on a good drama or documentary. Family holds a special place in her heart, and she cherishes her close relationship with her three nieces. Additionally, Dr. Cox is a proud pet parent to Ginger, her cute and rambunctious fur baby whom she adopted 5 years ago.
